Comprehensive Insurance Management

Agency Innovations (AI), our insurance management software, is the most comprehensive solution of its kind.

AI is a web based insurance management application designed to empower the independent insurance agency. It is an ongoing development project with new features and functionality appearing regularly.

Because AI is web based, there are certain advantages over traditional management software:

  1. There is no software to install on agency maintained computers. All you need is a computer running internet explorer (web browser), a printer, and an internet connection. (This can drastically cut down on technology maintenance costs for your agency!)
  2. There are no downloads and updates to worry about. When AI adds a new feature, it simply “appears” and is immediately available.
  3. No costly equipment to maintain. No complicated networking to figure out.
  4. No advanced and expensive wide area networks or VPN’s (virtual private networks) are required for multiple location functionality. If your agency has multiple locations, you have the ability to share ONE COMMON customer database among all the locations. This ability is “built-in” to AI.
  5. Redundancy (data protection) is built-in. Your data is automatically backed-up at our central server. But you still run backups at your agency to keep your data at your facility.
  6. AI uses strong 128-bit SSL encryption. This is the same technology used by online banks to keep hackers and other malicious internet entities from intercepting your data.

 

Our philosophy is simple: Let AI handle the overhead work of your agency so you and your agents can concentrate on increasing SALES.

AI has too many features to list here, but we’ll cover most of the major concepts.

  • AI Currently Supports the following “Lines” of insurance: AUTO, HOME, and COMMERCIAL.
  • Store Customer, Policy, and Insurance “Line” specific data. Transactional memos track policy events by date and time.
  • Advanced database searching allows you locate hard to find clients and policies.
  • Pending Task System allows you and your agents to “work” customer service tasks from inception to their completion. 
  • Multiple Location Support – If your agency has multiple locations, they can all share a common customer database. Yet, location specific items [ie: cashout, binder book, transmittals] are all maintained per location. Your locations can literally become “service centers” with each location able to assist all your customers equally.
  • Daily Cashout showing total monetary income with a “total for deposit” amount. Money is tracked by payment types: Cash, Check, Money Order, and Credit Cards. If you run multiple locations, daily cashouts from each location are emailed to a central administrative email account.
  • Electronic Binder Book--fully automated and ready to print at the end of the day.
  • Transmittals showing money out to insurance companies. EFT support is built-in as well.
  • Register “journal” summarizing each policy’s monetary transactions.
  • Print Agency Checks on Standard Quickbooks compatible check stock.
  • Log Company Commission Checks [reflected on cashouts]
  • Mailroom allowing agents or customer service representatives (CSRs) to quickly and efficiently enter mail items into the system. Includes a basic set of standard mail items, -AND- a “Mailmemo” designer area where the agency can actually design its own mail items to be tracked by AI.
  • Advanced memo tracking keeps complete event records for every policy.
  • Supports two agency add-on products per policy.
  • User definable policy fields—customize AI to hold agency specific data. (Whatever you want, ie: Referrer name, Dealer, Birthdays, etc.)
  • Supports Direct Bill and Premium Financing.
  • Monthly Payments.

  • Balance Due tracking system including automatic generation of promissory notes.

  • Daily Access Code – Optional feature which requires employees to call for a rotating daily code if they are late.
  • Complete System Activity Audit Trail—See what your agents are (or are not) doing including a “security report” which logs “suspicious” activity.
  • Paperless Office Support – AI seamlessly integrates with Ebridge-Solutions.COM paperless office / document storage and retrieval service. (Ebridge-Solutions.COM service fees will apply to use this feature) – GO PAPERLESS and eliminate those filing cabinets! Retrieve documents in seconds.
  • Multiple security levels allow different agents/users access to different features.

PRICING: 

Licensing is provided on a “SITE-LICENSE” basis. A site, called a “location”, is defined as any physical address where YOU are engaged in the act of INSURANCE sales, service and/or the maintaining of information related to YOUR insurance sales or service business.

Charges paid to Meridian Computer Corporation (MCC) are pre-paid. Before access to AI is granted for any one month, the month must be pre-paid in full. 

The following prices are subject to change. This fee schedule outlines the usage charges for accessing AI: 

1 Location (site license) = $100/month includes: 4 users and ONE line of business (LOB) module

Extra Line of Business Modules (ie: Auto/Motorcycle, Home, Life/Health, etc) = $50/month

Extra Users = $5/month per user.  

Examples: (mo=month) 

1 location ($100/mo) writing Auto (included) and Home ($50/mo) = $150.00/mo

2 locations ($200/mo) writing Life/Health (included) = $200/mo

4 locations ($400/mo) writing Auto (included) and Commercial (included) = $400/mo

3 locations ($300/mo) writing Auto, Home, Commercial (included), Life/Health($50/mo)= $350/mo

2 locations ($200/mo) writing Auto, Home (included) with 10 users (8 included, 2 @ $5/mo) = $210/mo 

Off-Site Usage

Agents may be granted limited OFF-SITE usage at any remote location should the primary use of the remote location be residential in nature. Off-Site usage needs to be registered with MCC. There are no additional charges associated with off-site usage.
