If you have ever
experienced a loss of your valuable data, you know it can have
devastating effects. We specialize in recovering lost
information--and we do this on multiple fronts.
- Hard Drive Crashes - If your hard drive has crashed
or has become corrupted we can help. Hard Drives can loose
information for a variety of reasons including: Hardware
Failure, User Error, Viruses, and Malicious Attacks. We employ
two methods of recovery: Software and Hardware. If your drive
continues to function, even to some minimal degree, we can use
software techniques to attempt recovery of its contents. Raw
data may also be recoverable by directly reading individual
sector(s) of the disk or media. If the drive has physically
failed, we use hardware recovery. Hardware recovery tends to be
more costly, as the drive needs to be disassembled and
reassembled in a dust and static free environment called a
Cleanroom. When the drive is disassembled, the disk "platter(s)"
are removed from the failed drive and transferred into a working
drive of the exact same type. This technique has a high
recovery rate.
- Removable Media - Most of our customers are surprised
to learn we can recover information from most types of removable
media including: CDs, DVDs, Floppy Disks, Camera/Memory Sticks
and Cards, Zip Disks, and USB Drives including flash disks and
external hard drives.
Data Recovery Pay Schedule
- Software Recovery - $125/hr. - Most recovery jobs
completed in 1 hour depending on the amount of data you are
looking to retrieve.
- Hardware Recovery - $400 and up. Price depends on
your hard drive type and availability of replacement parts.
